Pocatello might not always be the first place that comes to mind when you think of Idaho, but it’s a hidden treasure waiting to be experienced. It’s a place where you can go from the bustling streets of Old Town Pocatello to a secluded mountain hike in a mere 10 minutes. Truly this city offers the perfect blend of urban convenience and natural beauty. 

Mink Creek, Pebble Creek, and City Creek

One of the things that make Pocatello a standout destination is its proximity to nature. The trifecta of Mink Creek, Pebble Creek, and City Creek ensures that there’s never a dull moment.  City Creek Trail System-

The Portneuf Wellness Complex features a state-of-the-art amphitheater surrounded by picturesque mountain views. The facility offers nearly 2 miles of wide paved walking paths, restrooms, pavilions, and parking, designed to be inclusive for all ages, economic levels, and abilities. Additionally, it includes a mountain bike park integrated into the natural terrain, a spacious children’s playground, and eco-friendly landscaping, making it a family friendly outdoor facility.

Edson Fichter Pond-

Nestled in southwestern Pocatello within the scenic Edson Fichter Nature Area along the Portneuf River, a serene community pond awaits.
